about

Hello, I’m Martina, the founder of Peaceful Minds Yoga.

Originally from Poland, I moved to the UK after completing a degree in International Relations. Over the years, I’ve worked across various sectors, from marketing to interior design.

My greatest transformation came when I became a mother of two and discovered my true calling - teaching yoga and mindfulness to children.

how, when and why it all began

Fitness always played an important part of my life but yoga has never been just an activity for me - it has been a constant presence, a source of strength and a guide through the twists and turns of life. Yoga taught me how to be in control of my emotions rather than emotions controlling me. That’s how I fell in love with this ancient practice even more and decided to become a yoga teacher myself. My training took me to Bali, where I immersed myself in the practice of Hatha and Vinyasa yoga. Apart from practicing fancy asanas, daily meditations became my second nature.

Being a mom of neurodiverse children I felt a strong calling to explore yoga beyond adult practice. This led me to a specialised yoga training course designed for children with Austism and ADHD. I learnt how yoga could help improve focus, self-regulation, and emotional well-being in kids who often struggle with traditional learning and movement practices.

What started as a personal journey has now become my life’s work. I now teach yoga classes designed specifically for neurodiverse children, creating a joyful, inclusive space where kids can feel safe, accepted, and empowered. Every child is different, and my approach is always flexible - some days are full of movement and laughter, while others are quiet and soothing.

Teaching these children has taught me as much as yoga itself. They’ve shown me the beauty of seeing the world differently, the power of patience, and the importance of meeting each

person exactly where they are.

Yoga is not about perfection - it’s about connection. Whether a child is neurodivergent or neurotypical, they all benefit from the chance to slow down, breathe, and move in a way that

feels good. My goal is to share yoga as a tool for self-discovery and self-acceptance, helping children feel more at home in their own bodies and minds.

Having then discovered many parents in a very similar situation I was inspired to share my unique approach and framework with others.

my mission

Neurodivergent children with Autism and ADHD often face significant challenges in areas like focus, stress management, and self-confidence.

My mission is to create a safe space where every child feels valued and empowered, focusing on what they can do rather than what others say they cannot.

My values guide everything I do at Peaceful Minds Yoga and will be the cornerstones from which I grow the business. They include:

  • Compassion
  • Patience
  • Acceptance
  • Peace
  • Kindness
